Dr. Del Cid, born and reared in Panama City, Republic of Panamá,
is a naturalized American citizen. He has a Doctor of Chiropractic
degree and is a graduate of UCLA's Anderson School of Management,
Executive Education Department, of the Leadership Institute for Managers
with Disabilities. Boris has served as vice president of the Orange
County Chiropractic Association and was a lecturer to the Health Department
of the Republic of Panamá. He was a practicing chiropractor
for 16 years until he sustained a spinal cord injury in 2006.
Boris joined Junebug Technologies in January 2008 because he felt
that it was committed to delivering a tool that is desperately needed
to help people with disabilities become more self-sufficient.
"I must say, it is truly an honor to be part of this organization,
and I am confident that its vision will become an integral part
of the rehabilitation of Americans with disabilities. My personal
expectations regarding Junebug Technologies are very high. In my
mind's eye, I have seen this project become an icon of self-sufficiency
and hope for individuals with disabilities across the United States.
I therefore pledge to contribute in any and all capacities to help
this organization reach its goals.
As a business person, I have no doubts that this product will become
successful, because it has all the required ingredients. I consider
myself very fortunate to be a small part of this journey, and to
be in the company of forward thinking individuals that embrace a
challenge and can make things happen.
In conclusion, Junebug Technologies has a bright future ahead, and
its applications have the potential to go beyond helping people
with disabilities. As an American citizen and a person with disabilities,
I am thankful that this tool exists, for the benefit of all who
want it and need it." |
